If your man is trendy and really keeps up with his appearance with all of the latest looks, fashions and hairstyles, a nice personalized appointment at a day spa giving him the works with chocolates, hair cut, a sauna sitting, and the whole nine yards would be great when it comes to buying cool presents for men. You could join him to enhance the satisfying experience.
Try things that stir up imagination, then make it possible for them to live the dream. An example would be giving him a massage oil kit of different scents plus, an oil warming appliance. He will automatically envision you giving him a massage and will feel the warmth on his body.
Why is it so hard to buy presents for men? Women attribute it to men being unorganized and ill-planned. Women feel that men only buy things as and when needed and sought. Contrary to women’s view, most men claim that they’re not fussy and don’t like to stock stuff unnecessarily. Whatever the reasons, every female has to face the dilemma of how to buy good presents for men. Let’s look at some ideas that can help.
A man could be 15 or 55 but they still have that little boy inside. One category that almost never lets you down when shopping for presents for men is electronics and gadgets. These are men’s favorite. It can be anything; a cell phone, an iPod, accessory for his computer, something for his car, TV or something related to it or an electronic organizer. If not sure you can just simply gift him a shopping voucher from his favorite gadget store. He’d love it. Or maybe a cool looking GPS to help him get around places with ease. This may even be handy when he is out on a road trip!
Remember, all men grow up fantasizing about being an athlete. Some might tell, some might not but they are all like that. So give them something sporty and something that makes that feel good that you share their interest. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a sports car; although, it’s not at all bad if it is! But it can be any sporting good, something like a personalized cricket or baseball bat, sports-themed accessories, their favorite sportsperson’s coffee mug or some collectors’ item.
Whatever birthday presents you have in mind for the men, what matters most is the process of getting him the right present. It is not the monetary value that matters but the thoughts put into the planning and thinking. And when everything is done with a heart filled love, your present will bring lots of warmth and appreciation that words cannot express.
Last night, I asked my hubby what sort of gift will bring about a ‘wow’ from him. He looked at me and couldn’t gave me an answer… then he said, “something practical!”. Hmm, I suppose this explains why it’s so hard to buy a present for those men who have everything going for them. Sometimes, we worry too much about making a mistake in the gift selection.
Men like practical gifts. So unless your man happens to be an art teacher, it’s less likely that he’ll appreciate handmade gifts. So even if you do it yourself, make sure to go for something of practical importance rather than plain decorative. However, for some sentimentalist men, handmade gifts could be okay. Otherwise, get him an artistic gift such as an artistic t-shirt that is creatively designed by indie designers. Otherwise, a gift certificate will save the heartache of picking the wrong design for him!
Men love their drinks. It’s practically never a bad idea to gift a man a bottle of rare old scotch. Try to make it as best as your pocket allows, complete it with a DVD of their favorite movie and keep them company while they enjoy their gifts. Just keep one thing in mind; you’ve bought them something because you want them to enjoy it. So even if they’re more excited about the gift than you, it’s okay for a while.
A man’s way to his heart is through his stomach. Men love to eat and they have fairly simple choices. So food of his choice is always a good gift for a man. A gift hamper of his favorite snacks along with some rum chocolates will please him like anything.
Remember, men are not impossible to buy gifts to, they just have different needs and choices than women. Buying presents for the men who have everything will require a bit more research but it will pay off! Just pay attention to their general needs and mix it with your man’s personal choices and you should do great.
If you’re married, or have a male friend and your contemplating getting him a present you’re probably wondering what to buy him. There are many cool presents for men out there but it depends on the man. Most people would say to buy power tools but a man who is a PC technician would have little use for a power saw.
You need to think about what the man you’re buying for does for a living, and enjoys in his free time. For instance the drill that we just mentioned would be perfect for a construction worker or a man who likes carpentry. However if he likes electronics then you have a wider choice of things to buy. Everything from TV’s to video games.
You’ll have a good idea if your man likes electronics. Usually there will be magazines, or he will talk about them a lot. Or you can just look into his den and see if there is a wall of metal and plastic. Flashing lights may also give a hint. The type of electronics is a different matter though.
This guy can be the most challenging to buy for. There are many video game systems in the market with hundreds of games each. Plus the old discontinued ones. He may be an old school gamer that likes the game from five years ago, or older. Or he may be a newer gamer that likes the modern ones. You also have to figure out what type of game is his favorite and pick him out one he doesn’t have.
Remember not all men are the same. We don’t all like the same things regardless of what so called experts may thing. Finding cool presents for men can be a bit challenging at first. The main thing you need to do is take some time and get to know your guy a little better before you go buying for him.
